Ingredients
  

  • For the Meatballs:
  • 1 lb 450 g ground lamb
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 –3 garlic cloves minced
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh mint chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika optional
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs optional, panko or regular
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional Sauces / Sides:
  • Tzatziki or plain Greek yogurt
  • Tomato sauce
  • Warm pita or flatbreads

Notes

Storage: Refrigerate cooked meatballs in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Breadcrumb alternatives: Oats, crushed crackers, or gluten-free breadcrumbs work fine.
Swap sauces: try tahini or lemon-garlic yogurt instead of tomato sauce.
If fresh mint isn’t available, use basil or extra parsley; flavor is slightly different but still fresh.
